I have been down to Essex today for Toastmaster Training, could have done without the 5 hour drive back, especially as the the last 10 miles took one and half hours. As a member of the English Toastmasters Association, we meet once a month for on going training. This is why I believe an English Toastmaster, is the best Toastmaster you can get for your wedding.
It was good to see so many fellow Toastmasters and really pleasing to meet Steve Phelps our newest member of the English Toastmaster family. Steve is based in Wales, so if you are looking for a highly trained and excellent Toastmaster in South Wales, get in touch with Steve through the English Toastmaster website www.englishtoastmasters.co.uk and click on our Toastmasters.
Everything is now ready for Nick & Angie’s wedding on Saturday. This is an extra special wedding for me to be their Toastmaster. I worked with Nick for about 15 years at MG Rover and we have remained friends since Rover closed.
I now have 3 wedding fayres booked, so looking forward to meeting lots of Bride and Grooms, it is an extra pleasure for me to be able to help them make their special extra special.
Well the wedding Fayre season is nearly upon us once again. After an idea floated at the last training day of The English Toastmaster Association, I think I am going to start doing workshops for the fayres.
I have been thinking how to structure the workshop, the best idea I have come up with so far is to break the spending up, in order of importance. So at the top you would have the venue/venues and fees then next tear down you would have the dress, Photographer, Toastmaster…….and so on.
I am meeting up with Nick and Angie my next bride groom on Saturday for the final arrangements ready for their wedding the weekend after.
Its the morning of Leah and Dwain’s wedding. I had a quick chat with Leah last night and there was a issue with the flowers, reassured her that if it was sorted by this morning I would get it sorted, as I have not had a phone call then everything must be sorted.
Getting ready to go to the Church, all part of the service with me and any other member of the English Toastmasters Associate.
The website now is blog enabled. Horray!
